Our Chocolate at Maison
We’re excited to announce that our chocolate bars are now carried at Maison, a European Patisserie in Brunswick, Maryland (maisonbrunswick.com). It’s the perfect time to stock up on artisanal, literary-inspired chocolate bars as well as delectable pastries before any more snow comes our way.

Our Chocolate at The Maid’s Quarters
We’re incredibly thrilled to see our chocolate bars atop the fireplace mantel at The Maid’s Quarters Bed, Breakfast & Tearoom in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. We’ve stayed there a number of times, and very much enjoy their whimsical rooms and lovely breakfast.

Wedding Bells Are Ringing
I’m getting married to my wonderful fiancé, Phil, this coming April!
Phil and I met in January 2023. A shared love for vinyl records, Japanese culture, and Wes Anderson films (Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Darjeeling Limited, and The Grand Budapest Hotel) sparked an instant connection. Phil is a middle school science teacher, and always incredibly supportive of Open Book Chocolates. You may have even met him at some of our in-person events.
Phil proposed to me in September 2024 in Luray Caverns, where we were serenaded by the famous Great Stalacpipe Organ (considered the word’s largest instrument by Guinness World Records).
Our wedding is Wes-Anderson-inspired! We’re asking that guests dress in vintage-inspired outfits in bright colors, and we’re using retro decor like paperboard suitcases to adorn our tables. It’s going to be a lot of fun!
