Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival
On Sunday, December 7th, we attended the Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival — our fourth time there as vendors! Annapolis always feels a bit magical, with its quaint historic buildings, roundabouts, and brick roads.
This event is that much more unique with its Sample Taste Tickets. Attendees can purchase these tickets, then exchange them for samples at various booths. Since we’re reimbursed for each ticket we collect, we always make sure to bring many extra samples.
Another feature that sets “Binge Fest” apart is that it’s OUTSIDE… in DECEMBER. Our second year was unseasonably warm, but all three other years so far have been pretty cold — especially when you’re outside for over five hours straight (probably more like seven). We always remember to wear many layers and bring hand warmers, hats, gloves, and anything else we can think of to stay warm!
Locally Crafted Two-Day Indoor Holiday Market at Rio
On Saturday, December 13th and Sunday, December 14th, we attended Locally Crafted’s Holiday Market — our third time there as vendors!
Locally Crafted and Locally Crafted Workshop owners Stacey, Heather, and Becky are wonderfully enthusiastic, impeccable, and delightful. Their events are always flawlessly organized, which makes our job an absolute breeze.
It was so exciting to see our lovely friend and fellow vendor, Allyson Navarro of Red Mosaic Jewelry, at this event and catch up with her. We met Ally at our very first Open Book Chocolates in-person event at Derwood Farmer’s Market back in 2018. We’ve certainly come a long way since then!
What a perfect way to finish off our 2025 in-person events!
