Help Us Reach Our Kickstarter Stretch Goal
We are so excited that our current Kickstarter campaign — The Maltese Falcon & Doctor Watson Chocolate Bars — is fully funded. But we’re still trying to reach our STRETCH GOAL. So far, we’ve raised $10,278 to create our two newest flavors. We have 12 days left to reach our $20K STRETCH GOAL to fund our new-and-improved packaging. In other words, we need $9,722 to reach that stretch goal.

New Color Wooden Pin Add-On
Here is the design for our new, eco-friendly, color wooden pins, now available as an add-on via our Kickstarter campaign!
For this design, I used a chalk illustration by the British artist Ford Madox Brown (1821 – 1893). Then, I added color, texture, and words. Everyone loves our "Read Books, Eat Chocolate" pouches, so I thought I'd create a wooden pin design that compliments our pouches.
We will be working with The Wooden Pin (thewoodenpin.com) on this add-on project. I have worked with them in the past, and had a very good experience with them.

Here at Open Book Chocolates, we’re gearing up for our busy season! In addition to running our Kickstarter campaign, we’re sending out orders to independent bookstores across the U.S., and preparing for nine in-person events from September through December.

Literary-Inspired Movies
We at Open Book Chocolates don’t just love books. We love movies too! Especially adaptations of classic literature. So we’d like to ask our customers/fans/supporters which literary-inspired movie you’re most looking forward to!
We can’t wait to see the final results of our poll! And we can’t wait to watch these four adaptations when they’re released.
Online Store to Reopen in October
Our online store at OpenBookChocolates.com is open all year round except for during our annual Kickstarter campaign. In other words, we've closed our online store for the duration of our current Kickstarter campaign. Once the Kickstarter campaign is finished (early October), we will reopen our online store!
